Philosophy

The most important aspect of working with a realtor is trust and communication. The realtor has the responsibility to listen to their client, to understand their clients wishes and desires.

The client has every right to demand and expect the best. The Real Estate Agent has the responsibility to be honest, direct and logical at every turn.

In Real Estate, sometimes it can be about who you know. Your agent needs to be a well-connected and a respected person in the industry. From financial management, to condominium law to HST Accounting practices, Jordan has you covered.

Working with a realtor is not an easy decision and when you have so many options to choose from, it is important that they give you the proper attention and focus. Simple gestures like retuning phone calls and emails immediately, having the patience to walk through the mandated forms, to actually take the time to get to know the client and their needs are basic concepts that can easily be forgotten in today’s hurried world.

The Process

The buying/selling/leasing process all starts with a conversation. It involves the agent listening to the client. The client outlining their dream scenario, their hopes and desires. The conversation needs to be open and honest, especially when it comes to the financial implications and scenarios.

If you are a Seller, a meeting will be held outlining the following:

  • What your house is worth via a comparative market analysis

  • What pricing strategy is recommended

  • What the sales strategy will be included both boots on the ground strategy and online presence

  • Explaining the costs associated to prepare the house for sale, including: staging, repairs,

    and improvements

If you are a Buyer, a meeting will be held outlining the following:

  • A conversation to communicate your dream house and scenario

  • A run through of the different areas/neighbourhoods and housing options

    available to you

  • A discussion about your buying power and a realistic analysis of what is possible and

    what is not

  • A conversation to ensure you are prepared for securing a mortgage, land transfer taxes,

condominium fees, HST implications and so on and so forth.
